Self Guided Gardens and Grounds Tour

Belmont Mansion was originally the centerpiece of a larger country estate that encompassed over 177 acres. The operation of the property depended on the labor of many people, including enslaved Black men, women and children; hired laborers of European descent; and first generation immigrants.

While many of the original outbuildings no longer exist, their locations are known. This tour covers the modern university campus which was built over the  historic Belmont landscape .
