Belmont Mansion is 15 minutes from downtown Nashville and 20 minutes from the Nashville airport and Opryland area. It is located in the middle of Belmont University campus behind Freeman Hall and across from the Lila D. Bunch Library.

Your arrival location will be the Lila D. Bunch Library - 1907 Belmont Blvd.

Parking on Belmont University campus is free, so long as you are in a visitor parking lot and register your vehicle. You will need enter your license plate number, state/province, make, model, and color of your vehicle. You can register your car here.

There is visitor parking adjacent to Belmont Mansion. Parking is also available across the street in front of the Bunch Library and along West Belmont Blvd. There is also an interactive campus parking map available online.

Please be sure to observe CITY parking signs when parking on a non-University street or lot. Towing and ticketing are enforced.

Guests may take pictures on their personal devices. However, no video or personal photo shoots are permitted (graduation, prom, homecoming, etc.).

Publicity photos and videos allowed when prior arrangements have been made with administrative staff. These shoots usually take place before or after the museum's regular operating hours and there is a fee. Please email myers.brown@belmont.edu for more information.

We ask guests to be mindful of our collection and to not touch things inside the mansion. There is no food, drink, or gum allowed inside the mansion. Guests may take a water bottle inside as long as the top is closeable.

Additionally, Belmont University is a firearm free and tobacco free campus so these items are not permitted either outside, or inside the mansion.

The main floor of the mansion is accessible via elevator in Massey School of Business. There is a video tour available of the second floor. For assistance entering the Mansion, please call 615-460-5459 when you arrive and a tour guide will lead you to an elevator if needed.

​For those who are unable to climb the stairs to the second floor bedrooms, we have a virtual tour available in the Museum Shop.​

We ask that guests be mindful and courteous to others while visiting the Mansion. 

Behaviors that interfere with Belmont Mansion’s mission or involve harassment, abuse or endangerment of guests, staff, or volunteers are not permitted. This includes discriminatory or obscene language, clothing, or conduct – or any behaviors that disrupt the experience of others. Belmont Mansion reserves the right to ask any individuals who engage in these behaviors to leave the premises.

To maintain a safe and welcoming environment, pets are not permitted inside the Mansion. Service animals assisting individuals with disabilities are welcome and may accompany their handler so long as they act appropriately.

There is no restaurant, lunch room, or picnic area available on site. Belmont University does have a cafeteria and there are a lot of restaurants located nearby.

A written introduction to Belmont Mansion's history is available in English, Spanish, German, and French upon request.
