This four drawer chest of mahogany and select rosewood veneers with canted corners exhibits applied moldings of ebony and piecrust molding topping a shaped skirt on three sides. The chest has an Acklen family history of being a Grand Tour purchase by Adelicia for Pauline, her youngest child who would have been six years old during the grand tour. The chest retains its original finish.
