Produced by the English firm of Hawksworth, Eyre & Co this silver-plated tray is monogrammed AA. This firm began production at Sheffield in 1833. When the first patents for electro plate manufacture were awarded in 1840, they soon converted to the new process, continuing to work until the 1930’s.
